I have reported a parental child abduction from Kazakhstan to the US to local police, the FBI, ICE and the Kazakhstan Embassy in Washington DC, but nobody seems to care. The child was removed from Kazakhstan under a false name and has been living in the US under the false name for more than 8 years. For half of his life, he hasn't seen his father or the paternal grandmother who raised him until he was 8 years old. I have extensive documentation of document fraud by the mother, but nobody even looks at it. It seems to me that American citizens can't expect other countries to cooperate with the Hague Convention if we do nothing to support it.
