Villanova Hosts Symposium in Honor of Professor John F. Murphy
2010 marks 40 years of service to the legal academy for Professor John F. Murphy of Villanova Law School. Professor Murphy is a well known scholar of international law and has most recently published, The Evolving Dimensions of International Law: Hard Choices for the World Community (Cambridge University Press). Professor Murphy's friends, colleagues and former students will gather to honor him and celebrate his contributions to international law with a series of lectures on international law at a symposium to be held on Saturday, October 9, 2010 at the Villanova University School of Law. The program begins at 8 am and lasts until 3 pm. Other participating law professors include Mark W. Janis (Connecticut), David Stewart (Georgetown), John Noyes (California Western), Stephen Zamora (Houston), Charles Gustafson (Georgetown) , among several others.
