Security Council Extends UNAMA for Another Year in Afghanistan

United Nations Flag The United Nations Security Council unanimously voted to extend the U.N. Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) for another year.  The Council also voted to expand UNAMA's mandate to include support for the parliamentary elections scheduled for September 2010.
