First Woman Appointed as Solicitor General in Vanuatu

Vanuatu The Vanuatu Daily Post reported that Viran Molisa Trief was appointed last week as Solicitor General.  The paper noted that her appointment marks a major milestone in Vanuatu, as she is the first woman to take up the position.  We extend our congratulations and good wishes to her as well.

Hat tip to the East-West Center at the University of Hawai'i.
