ICJ Gives U.N. Member States Until April 2009 to State Their Views on Kosovo

United_nations The International Court of Justice has given U.N. Member States until April 17, 2009 to submit written statements on the question of Kosovo’s unilateral declaration of independence. The order follows the U.N. General Assembly’s vote earlier this month for an advisory opinion from the ICJ on the legality of Kosovo’s declaration of independence from Serbia in February.
