This Should Help Book Sales
Florence Hartmann, a former spokesperson for the Prosecutor at the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia, was reported to have been summoned to answer charges of contempt of court for disclosing confidential information in a book she wrote about the court (after she left the court). The New York Times said that she is accused of revealing confidential decisions by appeals judges in the case of Slobodan Milosevic. Ms Hartmann's lawyer said that her book did not quote from the ruling but discussed its consequences. N.Y. Times, Aug. 28, 2008, at A10.
