"NannyVan" Celebrating International Women's Day

From Filipino Advocates for Justice:

The week of International Women’s Day, domestic workers across California are partnering with StudioRev to launch a Dignity in Action tour featuring the “NannyVan,” a colorful educational hub and sound system on wheels that will provide thousands of domestic employers, housecleaners, nannies, and caregivers with workshops and resources on domestic worker labor rights.

We hope to see you at one of our Dignity in Action NannyVan events!

Thursday, March 6th, 11-12:30 pm
The NannyVan teams up with The San Francisco Public Library’s Story Hour
Location: 300 Bartlett St, San Francisco
Domestic worker leaders will provide Know Your Rights information and resources.

Friday, March 7th, 12-2:00 pm
Off the Grid
Location: 5th Street at Minna, San Francisco
The NannyVan lines up with lunch trucks and live music to provide creative activities to reach out to employers with Fair Care tips and tools.

Saturday, March 8th, 12-3:00 pm
Dignity in Action: International Women’s Day Celebration
Location: 5th Street at Minna, San Francisco
Celebrate International Women’s Day by honoring the leadership of the many women who made this victory possible. Artists, community members, and workers are invited to participate in California’s first-ever “Fair Care Coloring Competition,” play their hand at Domestic Worker Bingo, help create audio episodes for the Domestic Worker App (accessible by any kind of phone), and dance to the NannyVan Jams.
