Centennial Lecture at UTEP: Alison Brownell Tirres

Allison Brownell Tirres, a Professor of Law at DePaul University College of Law, will deliever a Centennial Lecture at the University of Texas at El Paso as it celebrates the 100th anniversary of its founding in 1914 as the Texas State School of Mines and Metallurgy.

The Centennial Lecture Series invites noteworthy speakers to the UTEP campus to share their perspectives on a broad range of contemporary issues that are likely to impact our society, culture, and lives in the years ahead.

Professor Tirres will speak on “Deportation and its Discontents: Reflections on a Century of Immigration Law” on Monday, Feburary 3, 2014 11:45 a.m. El Paso Natural Gas Conference Center on the UTEP campus.
