NYT Room for Debate: Understanding Immigration Reform
Today, the NY Times Room for Debate has a discussion on what immigration reform should look like.
"[C]omprehensive immigration reform means different things to different people. What should we look for in attempts to improve what everyone seems to agree is a national problem?"
Click here for the discussion. I recommend reading some of the comments and responses to the essays (many of which are critical) because they highlight how contentious the issue of comprehensive immigration reform is going to be if or when Congress takes up the issue.
