U.S. Supreme Court denies Cert. on latest Agriprocessors case
The U.S. Supreme Court denied cert yesterday in Agriprocessors v. NLRB. Agriprocessors had appealed a ruling that undocumented workers were employees under the National Labor Relations Act. Agriprocessors had challenged a union election because 17 of the 21 employees who voted for a union at an Agriprocessors plant were undocumented. Agriprocessors is the same company whose plant in Postville, Iowa was raided by ICE last Spring.
