Driver's Licenses to be an Issue in Presidential Race Between McCain and Obama?

Mccain_context One Republican operative told Newsday to expect John McCain to bring up Barack Obamabarack Obama's support for ex-Gov. Eliot Spitzer's aborted driver's license plan for undcoumented immigrants - perhaps in an attempt to eclipse McCain's own past fight with his restrictionist GOP rivals on immigration.

Senator Obama has been a long-time -- and consistent -- supporter of issuing driver's licenses to all drivers.  This became an issue in the Democratic primaries.

Both Seantors McCain and Obama at one point supported some form of comprehensive immigration reform.
