MAPA May 1 Opposition to STRIVE Act

ALL OUT FOR MAY DAY MARCHES NO TO THE GUTIERREZ-FLAKE BILL
We invite you to join us in the May 1st, MAY DAY, marches and actions to raise our collective voices to STOP IMMIGRATION RAIDS and DEPORTATIONS, STOP the FORCED SEPARATION OF OUR FAMILIES, LEGALIZATION FOR ALL, and NO BRACERO-TYPE CONTRACT PROGRAMS.
Lastly, we adamantly oppose the Gutierrez-Flake Immigration Bill, known as the STRIVE ACT, introduced last month by Congressmen Luis Gutierrez (D-IL) and Jeff Flake (R-AZ). Our next eNewsletter will provide much more information about the STRIVE ACT by various sources which critique the legislation as deficient and dangerous to immigrants and working people.
We encourage you to download the letters we have posted for your convenience, addressed to Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, and circulate amongst your family, friends, and work-mates and forward these to the Democratic Party leadership.

March away, professor. Citizens will just be reminded of the last marches of a foreign mob carrying their flags of allegience. Even if they're carrying the U.S. flag the American people will see them as insincere. You can never repair the mistakes of the past marches, but you can surely aggrevate them. I just love it when the opposition leaders preach to their choir and further alienate themselves from the people that they're trying to win over as allies. You people don't get it. Thanks for the invitation but I'll be enjoying his farce on TV.

One more thing. Harry and Nancy are doing a great job in the roles of fools. As a team they are best thing since Laurel and Hardy, one mouthing off and demoralizing our armed forces and the other having delusions that she's Condi Rice. We can all recall Harry's former position as being adamantly opposed to illegal immigration, until he realize he could pander to a new constituency. Why bother sending letters to N and H, as they are already on your side and need no prodding to betray the citizens of this country. Again you preach to the choir.

Well another march will just remind the American people how much we need to secure our boarders and completely stop illegal immigration into our country. Not only are these illegals skipping out on paying medical bills; leaving states to pick up the tab and increasing insurance rates; they now are stealing scholarships and grants for American citizens who are in need when going to college. Not to mention we are paying for their education through property taxes in our public schools to boot.
The public school system is nothing to brag about but this hurts it even more when special classes are needed and given to foreigners who can't speak English. Who don't even belong here.
Crime another problem not invited but invaded into our country by drug smugglers;rapists; murderers who run across the boarder to escape justice. Never mind of the human toll of those murdered which never should have happened. When caught they appeal to be deported and when they just don't escape we pay for their jailing. It seems half the prisons are filled with illegal trash. Guess who pays that the illegals or their native country....no us tax paying law abiding fools do.
Now I will say this only and only in one area may we need illegal immigrants. It is solely for farm work. Picking crops that's it. For the rest of the jobs we have many Americans who need them. Not everyone can or will go to college. Not everyone has the aptitude for higher learning but you know what our country should take care of its own. We don't need uneducated unskilled laborers anymore that went out when technology came about. We have American citizens who need work and make a living off of it. I know many friends of mine did it. We have youth here who need jobs and elderly to make ends meet. We had so many jobs that have gone over seas that we have our own skilled labor force scrapping for jobs any job for their families won't starve.
I say only farm work and even that was what poor folks did 70 years ago,they depended on it. But now its filled with illegal immigrants. Perhaps we may need them now; they took it over; so if they must they can have a guest worker program. But its limited. They go back home to their native country and apply and after a certain time they must return and reapply.
No path to citizenship here; you broke our laws and have the gull to demand citizen rights. When we have immigrants from all over the world applying for citizenship waiting 10 years for a reply of yes or no. Most of them have something to contribute; highly educated and they legally applied like everyone before them did. No special treatment. You want citizenship get back at the end of this line and apply and if your lucky maybe; but don't expect much if your unskilled. There is not a large market for it anymore its not the early 1900's or 1800's hundreds no longer.
In the meantime for God's sake let our government listen to its people; the American citizens;
we don't want amnesty for law breakers, we don't want our money spent on housing; feeding and education of illegal immigrants who are taking our social services meant for our countrymen. Build a fence but place more boarder patrol on it, secure it and let it be known that from now on if you enter this country illegally you can never apply for citizenship. As for anchor babies well like everything else times have changed and people taking advantage is a sure sign that laws need to keep up with the times. A new law should be written that if a child is born within the boarders of our country they cannot be US citizens unless their parents are. Lets stop this large exploited loophole. I have no sympathy for people who fly foreign flags refuse to become part of our culture and then demand they want special treatment. This country should learn 1 thing; color; ethnic; racial blindness. Nobody gets a free ride no more, we are all treated the same. No more box checking; who cares. If your qualified you get it, it's simply if you don't well try harder. In the meantime deportation should continue and all illegal immigrants should be kicked out of this country. Those with anchor kids should pack up their kids and go home and raise them in their own country. These children at adult age can then apply for US citizenship. But their ill guided parents never. But when this loophole is closed all illegals must be deported end of story.
It is a global economy now and this country must compete. Well look around car manufacturers are laying off. Large corporations are laying off. Why because we cannot compete with low wages. We don't need foreigners making our pay scale lower in our own country. Never mind the third world health threats that they are bringing. Diseases long rid of are making appearances every health expert knows why.
One last thing not all Spanish are Mexicans or racial or ethnic as Mexicans claim; most are in the melting pot; came here legally and don't need to be trashed by this latest groups behavior,who do not represent what most of Spanish descent believe. Most don't want that Hispanic check box; its ridiculous when your blue eyed and light haired. Most like Italians have American looking families in 1 generation. Yea the first has that ethnic look but its not bad; they never asked for government aid, some do gooders or low lifes scammed that in. So in ending; many of us of Spanish origin want you illegals out too.

Had some good comments to aid hopefully it will be displayed as it keeps asking for codes to be typed in and approval. You need not display this but would like to see my more commmented post displayed as it had something everyone should read.
