An Immigration PAC

There is a new PAC on the block!  Drew Seman is the Executive Director of Immigrants' List, a new bipartisan Political Action Committee dedicated to meaningful immigration reform.  The PAC believes in a "fair and just immigration system that will unify families, encourage fair labor practices and restore America's status as a welcoming country for those who seek freedom from persecution and a better way of life."

Immigrants' List was founded in October of 2006 when a group of immigration attorneys decided they were tired of the anti-immigrant rhetoric they were seeing on commercials at home and from politicians in Washington. In just one week, Immigrants' List raised over $120,000 to support two pro-immigration candidates.

This is funny. States whose elected officials are doing the will of the people through the democratic process of reaffirming our current immigration laws have to face off in the political arena with overpaid elitist immigration lawyers and minority ethnocentric illegal alien advocates groups. The question is, when its all over, will the latter group accept the fact that we live in a democratic republic where our elected officials actually serve the citizens? Or will they continue to mobilize the mob of foreigners who are not enfranchised by our political system? I think it will be the latter, because these people will continue to be incorrigible self-righteous demagogues, regardless of how badly they're humiliated in the political arena.

Goodness... that is what we are doing. We are sending the families to their countries of origin that they may be re-unified.

But the idea that we are a welcoming country is an idea that was developed by people who don't pay the taxes that support these people they want to bring in. La Raza has so many foundation backers they could easily pay the enormous costs of the illegal aliens/immigrants, and yet they continue to encourage yet more, and fail to pay for much of anything they suggest. The Catholic Church, by the way, is as active, and in that process, fails to assume ANY of the responsibility for these folks they provide new homes. It won't continue, and I believe we need to take the bill to the owners of the illegal activities that they are responsible for.
