Very interesting reading and I for one shall be following with interest in the outcome. My father american citizen, my mother an alien. I was born outside of USA. My father resident in USA, never saw him until shortly before he died. Two step-sisters, we all lost our father, they then lost their mother, we only have each other left. One half brother too and I cannot be with them because USA immigration laws keep us apart one way or another. Sponsorship 5 years and a guarantee they must keep you during that time, we're in a recession, how does that work? In all this, I have been deprived the right to be with those members of my family that needed me at a very sensitive time to be with them, but USA denies it under laws. It is wholly unfair and cannot possibly confirm to International Human Rights???? Has anybody every challenged this...because they ought to, it cannot be right. Before I ever get time to spend with my own family, we shall all be dead...thanks America...for nothing :(
