Pill Said to Reverse PVS
BBC reports that an article in the journal NeuroRehabilitation (abstract) claims three PVS patients woke up and talked to people around them 20 minutes after taking Zolpidem. The effects allegedly wore off after four hours. If this study holds up (i.e., if the three patients were correctly diagnosed with PVS, the researchers accurately reported what occurred, and the study can be reproduced by others), this could change everything.
