WSJ: More on the NEJM/Merck Mess
Monday's Wall Street Journal will have an article (requires paid subscription) that suggests that one of Merck's chief defense witnesses in its Vioxx litigation -- Alice Reisin, a top Merck scientist -- may have been irreparably harmed by last week's NEJM editorial, in which the medical journal suggested scientific misconduct in the underreporting of known instances of myocardial infarctions among Vioxx users.
