Administrative Law Section -- Terror at the Table?

The ABA Section on Administrative Law and Regulatory Practice is holding a panel on food bioterrorism as part of the 2007 Administrative Law Conference.  9:00 - 10:30 a.m., Thursday, October 25, 2007, National Press Club.  Here is the summary:

Recent reports and incidents have highlighted the vulnerability of the nation’s food supply. Panelists will discuss the regulatory impacts of recent protective and defensive measures taken by FDA and USDA in response to international threats to the safety of the United States food supply. Are these actions appropriate? Are they sufficient? Panelists also will address liability concerns for food companies with respect to potential bioterrorism and contamination.
