Yet another meat recall -- this one enough for one picnic
On the heels of Topps Meat Co's 21.7 million pound recall (blogged here), a Baltimore company, Impero Foods and Meats, is recalling 65 pounds of ground beef. (Right, 65 with no zeros.) The recalled meat was produced Sept 25 and distributed to Maryland restaurants in 10 to 15 pound bags -- if I'm doing the math right, that would be 5 to 7 bags of ground beef. This E. coli contamination was discovered through routine testing.
