Blog Czar Hits Half-Century Mark

Happy Birthday to Paul L. Caron

  Today is Paul Caron's (Univ. of Cincinnati) 50th birthday.  Paul is the founder and reigning ruler of the Law Professor Blogs network, and editor of the TaxProf Blog. Even before blogging, Paul was a leader in online networking with his TaxProf email discussion list.  TaxProf was a huge help to me and still is -- it's kind of like hanging around in the coffee room with some of the best minds in the tax academy.  I learned that the issues were not all settled before I went to law school, and many still provoke vigorous discussion about every three years.

And Paul was kind enough to let me add this Food Law Prof Blog to his empire, even though he knows I grew up as a tax professor and am just a beginner at Food.
