UT Suspends Sign Ban

To update an earlier post, officials at the University of Texas at Austin have suspended enforcement of a ban that prohibited students from displaying signs in their dorm room windows, agreeing to establish a committee to review whether the policy should be changed.   Two students were told during an administrative hearing that they would be ineligible to register for classes next semester unless they removed their Obama signs from their window.  McCain supports had already decided to take down their own signs out of concern they too would be subject to disciplinary action.
