Muslim Scientist Challenges Loss of Security Clearance, Alleges Bias and Punishment for Iraq War Comments

The New York Times recently reported on the filing of a lawsuit in which an Egyptian-born nuclear physicist, now a naturalized U.S. citizen, charges that he lost his job at a lab doing research for the government after his security clearance was revoked due, he asserts, to FBI and Department of Energy officials' hostility to him based on his ethnicity, Muslim faith, and statements, made outside of his workplace, in which he criticized the Iraq war.
