Washington Post blogger Jonathan Capeheart writes about the passage of marriage equality measures that occurred on Election Day in Maryland, Maine, and Washington state. He also notes the defeat of a ballot measure in Minnesota attempting to ban same-sex marriage, the first time in history that one such state ballot measure was struck down.
