Commercial Surrogacy in India

"An enterprise known as reproductive outsourcing is a new but rapidly expanding business in India. Clinics that provide surrogate mothers for foreigners say they have recently been inundated with requests from the United States and Europe, as word spreads of India’s mix of skilled medical professionals, relatively liberal laws and low prices.

Commercial surrogacy, which is banned in some states and some European countries, was legalized in India in 2002. The cost comes to about $25,000, roughly a third of the typical price in the United States. That includes the medical procedures; payment to the surrogate mother, which is often, but not always, done through the clinic; plus air tickets and hotels for two trips to India (one for the fertilization and a second to collect the baby)."

Our program welcomes the application of a female if you end up deciding to become a surrogate with us. We will require a complete examination, and want to make sure you possess the selfless and giving nature that is so important to this process.

As the female chooses to become a Surrogate Mother, in addition to significant financial compensation, she also enjoys knowing that you have helped deserving parents achieve their dream of having a child.

Before we agree to help the female on you path, she is prepared to give us insight into every aspect of your life. We need to make sure you are truly ready, and would be a good fit.

IVF was the first procedure used to fertilize eggs outside a woman's body. In 1978, the first "test tube baby," was conceived through IVF. Most assisted reproductive technologies (ART) are derived from the IVF procedure. At the start of the woman's cycle, the physician prescribes hormones or other medications. These control the timing of the cycle and stimulate the development of multiple follicles, sacs of fluid in the ovary that may contain an egg. Usually, the patient can take these medications at home. After several days, the patient returns to the clinic for a vaginal ultrasound and blood tests that help determine the cycle's progress and the number of follicles. More than one visit may be required.

IVF is the basic assisted reproduction technique, in which fertilization occurs in vitro (literally, in glass). The man's sperm and the woman's egg are combined in a laboratory dish, and after fertilization, the resulting embryo is then transferred to the woman's uterus. The five basic steps in an IVF treatment cycle are superovulation (stimulating the development of more than one egg in a cycle), egg retrieval, fertilization, embryo culture and embryo transfer.
IVF is a treatment option for couples with various types of infertility, since it allows the doctor to perform in the laboratory what is not happening in the bedroom - we no longer have to leave everything upto chance!
