Law Review Article: Incarcerated Fathers

Solangel Maldonado, Recidivism and Paternal Engagement, 40 FAM. L.Q. 191 (2006).  This article surveys social science and legal literature concerning relationships between incarcerated fathers and their children. The author concludes that stronger father-child relationships lead to decreased delinquency in children and lower rates of recidivism for fathers.
