South Dakota Primary Election Finds Abortion Bill Opponents Losing

Although it is not immediately clear how much their opposition to a Sourth Dakota abortion bill may have cost their reelection effort, four Republican state senators who voted against a bill that would ban abortions in South Dakota were all defeated in Tuesday’s primary election.  Apparently, several candidates who supported the ban were successful in the primary.  Source.  Joe Kafka, AP, The Mercury News, mercurynews.com.
