Legislative Development: Kansas Legislators Fail to Override Veto of Abortion Reporting Measure
Kansas legislators failed by four votes in the state senate in their effort to override Kansas Governor Kathleen Sebelius’s veto of an abortion bill that that would have required the state to collect more information about late term abortions, such as the woman’s health, fetal abnormalities, and the physician who authorized the abortion.
