Mississippi Lawmakers Cannot Agree on Bill Banning Abortions

Despite extending the deadline to act on a law that would have banned most abortions in Mississippi, lawmakers in that state were unable to reach agreement on the bill’s final language.  The issue is expected to be taken up in the January 2007 session.  Sources.  Gudrun Schultz, lifesite.net; civilliberty.about.com.
