Internet Campaign Asks HBO to Remove Drama Involving Polygamist Family
A chain e-mail without attribution has been circulating on the Internet against the HBO polygamy drama series "Big Love" since it premiered earlier this month. The e-mail contends the series is full of "parodies of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints" and asks for it to be canceled. HBO reports that it has received "hundreds" of complaints since the e-mail began circulating. HBO insists the show “does not demean or misrepresent the LDS Church.” Source.
