The South Dakota Senate State Affairs Committee unanimously endorsed a proposed constitutional amendment that would make it clear that South Dakota’s Constitution does not grant a right to an abortion. If approved by the state legislature, the amendment would be put to a public vote in the November election. Wade, it is believed that no South Dakota court could find any right to abortion in the state constitution. Source: AP, AberdeenNews.com.
