Child Welfare Lawsuit Settled
"Fulton County must provide "adequate, effective and zealous" attorneys to represent abused and neglected children in the child welfare system, according to a lawsuit settlement reached Monday.The settlement resolves a 2002 suit that accused the county of failing to provide children with adequate legal representation during foster care hearings.
