Florida Mother Charged with Murder of 3-Year-Old Boy

A 3-year-old Florida boy died after his mother allegedly held him in a tub of scalding water as punishment on Christmas Day. The mother and the child’s grandmother allegedly failed to seek medical attention for his burns for a week with burns over 50 percent of his body. The child  was pronounced dead a half-hour after receiving a 911 call last Sunday. It is not clear why the child was being punished.  Source:  Gary Taylor, Amy L.
