Pope Emphasizes Opposition to “New Forms of Marriage”

Benedict XVI has emphasized his opposition to the proposal for "new forms of marriage that are extraneous to local cultures and that alter the particular nature of this institution." This new condemnation by the Pope was made in the speech given to the presidents of the Latin American Episcopal Commissions for the family and for life.
