Former New York Teacher Receives 32 Years in Prison For Sex Abuse
A former Lutheran school music teacher has been sentenced to 32 years in prison for sexually abusing a young girl and taking pornographic pictures of her. Michael J. Solomon, 41, abused the girl, who was under the age of 11, for five years, according to a published report Monday in The Buffalo News. Solomon was convicted in August of 23 counts, including rape, criminal sexual act, course of sexual conduct against a child and use of a child in a sexual performance. Solomon taught at two Lutheran schools in Niagara County. Police said the victim was not one of Solomon's students. Source. AP New York, newsday.com.
