Former Virginia All-American and Top NBA Draft Choice Agrees to Pay $307,036 in Back Child Support
Former basketball star Ralph Sampson could escape jail time after agreeing Friday to a plea bargain on a charge he failed to pay more than $300,000 in child support. The agreement will spare Sampson, 45, up to 30 months in prison and fines of up to $300,000, provided a judge accepts the negotiated plea Feb. 1. Source. The Charlotte Observer, Observer.com.
