Bridgeport, Connecticut Vigil Protests Domestic Violence

A vigil was held in Bridgeport, Connecticut Monday for the 26 men, women and children who were killed in Connecticut in domestic violence incidents last year. Some were stabbed or had their throats cut, while others were beaten, strangled or shot. One died from carbon monoxide poisoning. Their names were read aloud at an hour-long candlelight vigil outside City Hall Annex Monday night, hosted by the Center for Women and Families of Eastern Fairfield County in  Bridgeport to increase awareness of domestic violence.
