Bakersfield, California Police Net 66 Misdemeanor and 5 Felony Domestic Violence Suspects in Two-day Effort

Police in Bakersfield, California report making sixty-six misdemeanor and five felony arrests of domestic violence suspects in a two day period last week.  The arrests came as a part of a crackdown on domestic violence by that city’s police force. Nearly 200 domestic violence suspects remain at large. Since January, there have been over 1,500 reported cases of domestic violence in Bakersfield, three of those cases resulted in death.
