China urged to strengthen domestic violence laws
http://www.abc.net.au/ra/news/stories/s1454660.htm (Last visited September 11, 2005, REO).
China is being urged to pass legislation against domestic violence to further protect women. China's legislature last month adopted a draft amendment to the Law on Women's Rights Protection, outlawing sexual harassment for the first time and making domestic violence a crime. . . . China's largest women's lobby group, the All-China Women's Federation, receives more than three hundred thousand letters each year complaining of family problems, many of which are about domestic violence.
