Yet Another Takings Case at the SCOTUS
Yesterday, the U.S. Supreme Court granted cert in its third takings case of the term, Horne v. U.S. Department of Agriculture. This one involves the procedural issue of whether the federal government is subject to suit in a regular federal district court over its involvement in the annual raisin crop market or, as the Ninth Circuit Court concluded below, only in the Court of Federal Claims.
