Back on track

Over the course of the last two weeks, I had a close encounter with the ultimate mystery, brought to me courtesy of a bacterial blood infection -- one of those critters that we include within the broad umbrella of biodiversity.  Forgive me for the moment -- I'm not a fan of bacteria right now.
