CFPB hosts webcast on the mortage rules

From Naomi Karp:

On Jan. 10, 2014, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau’s new mortgage rules will take effect. That day, we’ll also host “Protecting homeowners: New tools for empowering consumers and advocates,” in Phoenix. This event will be a training for housing counselors, legal aid attorneys, and other advocates on the new mortgage servicing rule. You can watch the event live at 11 a.m. MST (1 p.m. EST) at consumerfinance.gov.
The event will feature remarks from CFPB Director Richard Cordray, followed by an in-depth training presentation by Cathy Mansfield.
If you need an accommodation to participate, here’s how you can make a request.
