Negotiating Family Conflicts

We all know how family conflicts can spiral out into litigation in some cases.  There has been a focus on dispute resolution for elders and families, whether it is simply approaching difficult topics for conversation, mediating disputes, informal negotiation, or using court-ordered mediation.  I was interested to read about a Q&A opportunity that the New York Time's Booming is offering as part of its "Ask the Expert" series.   Professor Sheila Heen, lecturer in law at Harvard Law where she teaches negotiations is the featured expert. Folks submit their questions in the comments section and then Professor Heen will post the answers on December 11, 2013.  As of the writing of this post, there are 83 comments posted. Interesting idea! Check out the column on December 11, 2013 to review the questions and Professor Heen's answers.
