Center for Medicare Advocacy-Leadership Position

The Center for Medicare Advocacy (CMA) has posted an opening for a senior management position for an experienced attorney. The position is in the Connecticut office. Are you the right person for the job? The qualifications:

Required: The successful candidate will have a passion for social justice, a law degree, at least five years of legal experience, and excellent written and oral communication skills. The ability to learn and master a complex area of the law is required. Excellent interpersonal skills for directing a diverse work staff are required.  This position requires a person with a proven ability to work successfully with a team of highly skilled individuals and an ability to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities.

Desired: Prior management experience, public interest law background, knowledge of administrative, health, and/or elder law, and fluency in Spanish are desired.  In addition, excellent training skills in order to train both Center staff, as well as legal and medical professionals are highly desirable.
