Aging knows no boundaries. Each country is facing aging populations. In the spring, the UK House of Lords Committee on Public Service and Demographic Change issued a report on whether the UK was Ready for Ageing? The report notes a need for across the board readiness, a change in attitudes about ageing and people who are older, rethinking what is "old", and discusses the issues of savings, housing, health care, and government leadership on (and strategy for) the issues. The report is divided into eight sections and the full report and appendices can be accessed here or the pdf version of the report here and the appendices here. The committee also included a table with demographic data to accompany the report.
