Opinion upholding consent by occupant long after objecting co-occupant had been removed from premises

Justice Alito delivered the opinion of the Court in Fernandez v. California. Justices Scalia and Thomas filed concurring opinions. Justice Ginsburg dissented, joined by Justices Sotomayor and Kagan.
