Davis "reliance on precedent" case in the lower courts

Orin Kerr has this useful post at The Volokh Conspiracy, outlining some of the ambiguities in the Davis case and analyzing how the case is being interpreted in lower courts, where it has been cited "several hundred times . . . in just two years."
