NYPD Friendly Fire Shooting; Cop is in Critical Condition

An assault on an off-duty cop at a White Castle had tragic results when on-duty officers responsing shot the off-duty cop, who was holding a suspect at gunpoint.  Story here.

Everyone is getting too trigger happy, and wanting to jump to conclusions. A quick assessment for blame has come back in the police officer's face, and now faces the same circumstances as joe average, but will probably be seen as an accident. Something the average man is not allwed anymore. On one hand, it's a good thing. On the other hand it's a shame..
