VA: Governor Orders Review of DNA Lab

After a critical review by the American Society of Crime Lab Directors Laboratory Accreditation Board, Virginia's governor has implemented policy changes in the state crime lab and ordered a review of 150 cases  by an incompetent examiner who headed the DNA section.  The review began in response to the Earl Washington case, a man who came within days of execution before being exonerated by DNA.
