Southwestern CrimProf's Habeas Corpus Win

Ken Williams won a 5th Circuit habeas and a 9-7 denial of rehearing en banc in a capital case where the defendant was tricked into confessing.  The district court found that the defendant had requested counsel, but was told by the police that his lawyer told him to go ahead and talk without an attorney present.
