please inform how I can find or get to Crime & federalism story. In Hidalgo County, Texas yesterday (2/22/05), County Commissioners agreed to match $500,000 grant from State to create a Public Defenders Office which will save County $1.3 million per year beginning four years from now. Great statistics. Quality of representation was not a decisional factor. Just economics! Please soon inform. Thanks.
