England: Metal Detectors for Knives

England Faced with an increase in the criminal use of knives, police have installed a metal detector at one of London's busiest bus stations.  If the experiment is a success, it may be expanded.  Possession of a knife without good reason is a crime punishable by up to 4 years in "gaol."
